CACAO BANANA BREAKFAST COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1 Cup rolled oats, I used quaker

  • 2 Tbsp cacao powder, I like Thrive Market

  • 3 TBSP almond butter

  • 1 tbsp honey/maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • heavy sprinkle salt

  • 1-2 tbsp mini chocolate chips [I like Enjoy Life]

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F & line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients.

  3. Scoop ~2 tbsp of dough and place on prepared baking sheet forming into a cookie shape using the palm of your hand to press down if needed.

  4. Bake for ~15-18 minutes or until edges start to crisp up!
