from my recipe box: 5 ingredient Chocolate Protein Energy Bites to give you that little sweet boost in grab-n-go form so hanger is never an issue! Swap out peanut butter for another nut butter you like or try making them with vanilla protein if you aren’t a CHOCOLATE fan!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder (I used Ancient Nutrition*)

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter

  • 1/3 CUP maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life), optional but recommended!

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredient except chocolate chips in a bowl. Fold in chocolate chips. Roll into ~1 tbsp sized bites and freeze or refrigerate.
