Collagen Cacao Truffles

  • 1 C dates, pitted

  • 1/2 C Ancient Nutrition chocolate collagen*

  • 2 T cacao powder + more for coating [I use Thrive Market]

  • 1 T coconut oil [optional]

  • 2 T almond butter

  • 2-2 1/2 T almond milk


  1. Blend dates in a food processor first. Then add the rest of the ingredients until well combined [Start with 2 T almond milk and add more if mixture isn’t coming together].

  2. Roll into bite-size balls.

  3. On a plate, add a few spoonfuls of cacao powder and roll each ball to coat [this will make them less sticky, you could even coat your palms in a little bit of cacao powder too].

  4. Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour, remove and re-roll them [they will flatten a bit the first time!].

  5. Store in the freezer/fridge for a grab-n-go snack when the sweet tooth is REAL!
